New IM 30l aio and Orphek build

Ok here goes my try at a build thread. I recieved my innovative marine 30l tank and nuvo aps stand today. I was going to post pictures of it being assembled, but instead I recieved a damaged stand. So I will post some pics of the damage. The rest of the build will be on hold for awhile. Kinda a bummer to say the least.

Ok here is a list of gear I have so far.
Finnex 150 watt heater
Sicce voyager nano 2000
Orphek v4 g2, mount, and gateway
30lbs marco reef saver rock
Dr tims one and only
40 lbs Carib sea special grade reef flakes
Brs 5 stage rodi
Have a nano skimmer and reactor on order.

Well I called brs today on my stand. They put in a claim to ups, and had another one being shipped before I got off the phone with them. That process went alot smoother then I had anticipated. Great customer service. Now just have to sit and wait for it to show up.

Was just sitting staring at my gear and i couldnt take it anymore. So Hooked up the gate way 2 for my orphek light today. And got it all set up. I have no clue as to what lighting schedule to program it to. I am new to salt water reefing. So any help along my journy would be greatly appreciated.

This is just a starter tank. I have been saving for a 6×2×2 tank and custom stand from crystal dynamics. So before I went off the deep end I figured if i could make a cheaper set up successful first.

Well the tank is getting closer to finally being wet. Just have to build the scape. Also have a mixing station build going on. I will have pictures of that in the future. Also picked up some neet 3d printed pieces to raise the water level.

I have 30 pounds of marco reef saver rock and 15 pounds of shelf rock drying off from the bleach cleaning I gave it. Hope to work on the scape this weekend.

Be careful. During my cycle I had a massive algae outbreak. Was due to phosphates leaking from the saver rock I got. Had to do an acid bath to take care of it. But setup looks great.

I soaked them in bleach for a week then in rodi water after. Hope that will help.

They fit really nice and tight so they stay where you set them at.

Subscribed. I was contemplating about upgrading both my Hydra26 and Prime replaced with the Orphek compact for the nuvo 40. Are you going to post PAR?
