Well my nitrates in my old tank is zero so I will be waiting longer[emoji30]What are the nitrates of the old tank? If you can hold out, the lower the better.
Thank you!Beautiful!
That's about the ration I am using-590ml vinegar to 410ml of vodka. I am dosing the same as the nopox recommended dosage and see what happens. I am starting to see a bright green algae growing on my rocks which is kind of freaking me out. I need to get the nitrates down sooner than later. I need to get my refugium set up so I can have a place for my macro algae as well.I've used that combo before, did wonders for my tank, I used a ratio of two thirds vinegar to one third vodka, start low and go slow increasing your dosage. If your start see white slim(bacteria bloom) cut your dose in half and keep an eye out for cyano.
Thanks for the compliment. Right now I haven't been adding anything to the tank yet. Just waiting for it to cycle. Hopefully I will be adding fish from my old tank soon. Future plans will be to add a refugium and get the fresh and saltwater tanks established in the crawl space for top off and water changes.Awesome tankbuild and very good equipped!!!
Could you give any update about the build? I like photo's! [emoji12]
