Check out the latest addition to our jebao line-up, the battery back-up! In the event of a power outage, they can keep your water flowing until power is restored. Each battery will power an RW-4 for up to 48 hours, and RW-8 for 24 hours, a 15 for 18 hours, or a 20 for 12 hours. They can be daisy-chained to provide more run time or run more pumps, and they turn on automatically when the power is out. You can order yours here for only $109.99:

Will it work on the WP series? Never mind, clicked on link and saw pics. Nice item. Works for both jebao and ecotech.

would these work for the jebao DC return pumps also?

good question. Being that my ecotech battery backup powers my vortech not at full power it wouldn't have enough power to push water from a return pump

would these work for the jebao DC return pumps also?

Yes, however the run time is low on the larger ones. One battery will run a DC12,000 for 2.5-3 hours, I think that is at full power though.

I assume these only with if using the stock controller?

No, you can use them with the dual controller or apex adapter as well.

Just ordered mine Thanks since the L1 pumps don't work yet with their battery backup
& will be using with my RW-20'S not the L1 just need some insurance for this winter.

Isn't this the same battery as the new icecap? It's a shame its so small and doesn't lower the speed when there is a power outage. I believe this battery uses a 3.6 MaH battery while Ecotechs uses an 18 Mah battery......is there something bigger in the works?

They work with most DC pumps that take 12-24V input.

They don't have as many mah as the ecotechs, but cost far less and can be daisy chained. I will get the mah rating on the battery, I am not sure where you got 3.6.

This is a picture of the battery. 3.6

Also its only $55 cheaper then the Ecotech. Being that the Ecotech has 5 times more capacity and automatically decreases power upon sensing an outage....its a much better value....if you want this to do that, you will need to purchase the module which is $99.

Btw, I'm referring to the Icecap one that Coralvue distributes. I think they are the same.

They do automatically drop the voltage when the power is out, that is how they function. And they work well with the RW pumps, it is a good affordable option that will provide some backup when the power is down.

That is not what Coralvue told me. They said if I want it to drop the power on the pump I will need to purchase a module.
