it is rated 9000k tho, more blue than my older 6500K
In a diff thread people said 6500k could grow zoas, so this should work better
yes, but it can grow them. (not well) then 9000k should be a tad closerYou really want closer to 12K to get into the right spectrum. 6500K is daylight and will have a large amount of yellow greens and reds that corals don't use.
