New live rock with anemones. Help ID please.

Yep that's what they look like up close. I think they look nice. I've read many things about them. But that's the first one the said they don't host any fish. I've seen they don't host clowns( didn't get them for the clowns) and have seen they do host clowns and two other type of fish. Lots of info but so confusing at times.
 
LOL, now that I know those are on the background I can go back and tell, but I sure couldn't before. I still bet those brown palys on the background could find a way to come to life and get in the middle of any expensive zoas you buy. ;) Those things are like kudzu I tell ya.

How long have you had your tank up and running? It may be too early for any type of nems yet...
 
Lol I didn't even think to mention the back ground. At least I'll know for next time. I pulled half of it off just to get a picture of the now identified star polyps. Lol and my tank has been up for just over 6 months. I fully cycled in about two months. But I waited until about 5 months to add anything
