I absolutely love the color of your mag!
What are those two white things fastened to the side of the tank?

Thanks!

Those at mag floats, using them to pin some eggcrate so the mag can’t get near the heater or MP10

End of Day 3, just after lights out. Looking good, will continue with 250mg of cipro each night with 100% water changes.

Is that 250mg Cipro in ten gallons?

That’s correct. I use fish flox version of cipro, don’t need a prescription. I also recommend having septra on hand, think it’s called sulfa forte.

Excellent job on saving this beautiful mag!

Looks like it’s gonna make it!

Thanks! I’m hopeful, I think the key with this one and the others I’ve been able to save is pulling them and treating at the first sign of trouble. The one I lost I went back and forth on but that was my first anemone other than a BTA. I’m glad I listened to the folks on here when they told me to treat this one ASAP.

There is definitely a lot of knowledge here!

Seems like I learn something new every day!

Day 5

Looking better everyday. Scared me a bit as it was detached and blowing around. Turned off the pump and it quickly reattached to the other side. Can’t seem to get high enough lol

That thing is drop dead gorgeous! I'm going to be ready to try a mag soon and you got one I'm looking for. (:
Can't wait to see a pic of it in your tank.
Cipro and sulfa something are on the way so I'll be ready. Thanks.

Thanks! Yep make sure to have cipro (fish flox) and septra (sulfa forte).

I can tell you out of all the ones I’ve treated, they perk up for a few days in the display and then take a nose dive. I would recommend either putting right in a QT so you don’t have to try and move them and stress more, and then watch. Or just throw in QT and treat prophylactically.

Day 6

Well not looking as good as yesterday. I think it’s more of a shrink then deflation. Mouth is not gaping.

Any thoughts @Amoo @davocean?

That's not deflation, that's just closing up some, usually when lights ramp down, basically their disc is like a solar panel, no need to extend if not pulling in light, or, not wanting light.
Still looks very good.

Ok good that’s what I was hoping you’d say! I’ll add that it’s never deflated or looked like it did the day I pulled for treatment. I’ll treat one more day and if it looks good into the DT it goes.

It's looking exactly like it should. It's basically looking fully recovered and eager to get into the DT with good lights & flow. Good work on this treatment, you're almost there.

After 7 nights of treatment, places in the DT this morning. Took a few minutes to attach to the spot I made for it but looking good this evening. Trying to hit with a lot of flow.

And here’s some shameless pics of my other anemones. Both the haddoni and gig were treated as well.
