I looked at my sand bed and parts have a little bit of brown On it. Probably is diatoms. I haven't put anything chemicals or anything in my tank yet but it does have live sand in it can tat what makes it happen. I haven't had my lights on at all

Probably diatoms, you'll have many more blooms to come with the cycle

Wave makers will help to cycle the dead spots.
No need to add anything yet other than bacteria in any form will help.
In what day are you now on the cycle process?
Remember to write it all down from day one, you findings, what's happening, anything you add to the tank and all your test results.

Btw, not sure if you are a member of your local reef club but you can ask there if someone has a piece of LR out a sump which is totally cured but full of beneficial bacteria.
You can always ask here, and I'm sure someone can hook you up with a piece.
I have plenty for you but I'm a little drive for you ;)

@The Coral Kings are up that way. Check with them, they might be able to hook you up. Dans a great guy. Also, check with @Brian Kim he is up that way as well and might be able to direct you. He posted earlier on this thread.

Hope that helps. Did you see my link I sent? @Diesel that's GARF and they have biodiversity packs that include start for sand seeding, fuge MUDs and LR.

Just leave it to be as it will be cycling.
Ammonia need to be consumed by bacteria.
Adding bacteria might be a good thing if you have some on hand.
