New reefer 90 gallon build

I have a 90 gallon that has been up for about two months. I just bought a Finnex 300W a titanium heater with controller for $32. I picked this one because it was only 12" long as opposed to 15" or longer that I found for most other heaters.

Yea I think the 12" would work well considering I'm using a small sump. I've heard good things about titanium heaters. Thanks for the tip Bubba!

Just got my reef keeper lite sl2 package with ph and temp probes

I've heard good things about the archon. I got this because it was a great deal and it seems like a pretty decent controller for the price

The rkl is great for basic functions, the main drawback to it is when you need more modules it is limited to 4. The 4 module limit is what made me decide to upgrade. I needed 3 pc4's for my main tank and I am going to be adding a fourth to control my quarantine. Be sure to post when you get it installed.

I like the Cobalt Neotherm heaters. Digital settings and their slim profile stood out to me. I have mine between the baffles in my bubble trap so it doesn't take up any real estate in my small sump.

I watched the brs160 vid about heaters and the cobalt seems awesome. How many heaters and what wattage would you recommend for my 90 gallon

You would be good to go with a 200 watt Cobalt Neotherm. If you have a large sump you may consider going with a more powerful heater.

So I've been really busy the past couple of weeks but I now I have everything I need to get this tank filled up! I still have to do a leak test. I have to set up all of my plumbing and get my wiring situated

I bought a current orbits marine led fixture, a reef octopus 150 int Classic and I ended up going with a marineland precision 400w heater. I'm going to have to put the heater in my overflow since I don't have enough room in the sump. I will have pics of all the new stuff soon

And I figured it would be wise to get an ato so I went with the jbj ato. Does anyone have advice on using this ato with the reef keeper lite?

Be careful with the Cobalts, I've had friends that had their Cobalts split open and spill the contents into their tank. I had a Finnex Titanium 500w and I had it plugged into my Apex controller. No need for a heater controller
