New sps to look for?

Here is a pic of a coral not named but one really nice coral, I have some pics of it where it almost looks grafted on the base. What do you think?

I'm beginning to think this is an A. Aculeus (sp?). ORA sells these as the MI Fuzzy I believe. I got mine as an unnamed ORA about a year and a half ago and it has grown into a nice colony. (Side note: you can see the Red Hot Chundata aka the Grinch in the foreground.)

Here's another one you don't see so often. I believe this is a somewhat rare color variant of A. Deswalii. Menard has this colony and a number of us in chicago have received frags from him.

Top down shot of it under primarily fiji purple lighting, which brings out more purple than blue (also in the pic on the left, A. Secale, aka DFS Purple Haze - it differs from the GARF bonsai (also a secale) in that it develops green tips, but shares the purple base w/ green polyp coloration).

Here's another one you don't see that often (I'm having fun digging through my old pics :) ), M. Capitata. Its not the most colorful, but has a cool shape in that its corralite structure is similar to an encrusting monti, but it also branches.

OK, and one more uncommon one. Not sure the species, but I'm guessing M. Verrucosa? This was handpicked from Walt Smith's collection in Fiji, when fijipurple visited his facilities there. He gave a frag to SaraB, who passed a frag on to me. It has very cool purple polyps (maybe this could be thought of as a reverse bonsai).

Last one, this is an unknown acropora sp. - anyone have an idea? I thought valida at first, but now I don't think so. It sits right next to a nana, so I know its not that either. At any rate, its the only acro I've seen that has a true deep maroon coloration. This, coupled with its vivid purple/blue tips, makes it one of my favorites.

I got mine as wild and it was one of my favorites I lost it with AEFW last year. so the ora yellow fussy is the same?

Check out the Vivid's Rainbow acro and the Joker. I just got frags of them in today. Looking forward to seeing them color up.

I have to say the Frag Farmer enchinata. They said on their web site it was by far the top 3 frags they had. I was lucky enough to get a frag awhile back and it is right up there if not better then the ice/fire. My ice/fire grows pretty fast but this thing is rocking.

mcliffy2, You have some beautiful sps listed on this thread, Do you want to sell or trade some frags. I have some le and nice frags I could trade for If your Interested.LMK I'll send you a list and try and get some decent photos taken, I actually need a new camera but will do the best I can.

Poolkeeper - I always give away may frags, but I honestly don't have time to arrange for shipping, etc. If you are ever in the Chicago area, you are more than welcome to come by and pick up some frags, just let me know.

I Live 20 min from Jason fox and have a frag of his Grinch Monti and the pics i see on this post are not a Jason fox/Tyree Grinch monti.......I BELIEVE Jason collected this himself in the Philippines

The grinch I posted came straight from victor at wwc who got it from Jason. It is small so it may be hard to tell but it is the real thing

I am sooooo glad you guys started this, I havn't seen much that I liked in months.....

I have a question, I saw a rommels original rainbow acro on Atlantis's website does anyone have this acro and does it look as good in person as the one on the site? Pics maybe?

Here's a nice tenuis I picked up years ago when Reefer Madness was in its prime. I've always enjoyed this coral and it is pretty large in my tank:
