What a small world. I was looking to purchase the exact same clam from Unique Corals because of the smaller clam attached. I thought it was very "Unique". Yea that was it.....I knew I couldn't wait and had to pull the trigger on it as it wasn't going to last much longer for the deal they had on it.....I plan to update progress as well.....this way we can see what the little one turns into....

The cool part is I bought it like that......Now just not sure at what point I try and remove it......I am thinking once it gets to be about 3".

dont remove it i think the mini max have jill his way in to the big max by splitting them apart might kill the big max .

? What do you mean by might kill the big max? Right now I can remove it as it is attached on the out side in a little indentation in the shell and coralline....I don't plan on removing it though will be long time before I even think about it...

I have the bad habit of zooming in on photos of corals and inverts that look interesting. I pointed out minime to Unique Corals. I though about grabbing it but I have two Tahitians already. Enjoy!
