Just a good latex paint will work. Lowes and home depot sell Acrylic based latex paint that works pretty good. Its indoor/outdoor paint used for everything from end tables to outdoor funiture. Its not very expensive either. Its by the spray paint.

FRP is fiber reinforced plastic. Its what my equipment room is covered with. Same stuff I used in the bottom of my old stand. It would be a little bit of work to do that, But its not that hard. Or you could just lay some pond liner in the bottom of the stand and let it lip up around the sides like a pan. This is what John at CRA does cause its quick and easy. Works pretty good.

Kewl! We've got a lot of buckets of paint sitting around. I'll get M@ry Ruth started with a paint brush tomorrow.

They were supposed to come today. I got an email at 2:30 stating that he will contact me tonight with a delivery time. Maybe tomorrow.

I took Will's suggestion and painted the bottoms of the cabinets and bought a pond liner and cut it to make a "fabric pan" that will sit under the sump.

Regarding the pond liner: you know how the instructions that come with things have a line at the top that says "tools needed"? This line will usually have things like hammer, phillips screwdriver, adjustable wrench, etc. The instructions for the pond liner said "garden hose and shovel". What? I've got to dig to install a pond liner!!

The garden hose is for keeping the cat in line, and the shovel is for leaning on. The screw driver is for digging out the cabinet for the pond liner.

So we have any glass boxes yet? :)

Nope, not yet. There has been one delay after another. He was supposed to send the 180s yesterday. The delivery driver called me from Guntersville yesterday a little after 4:00 while it was storming telling me he was on the way with one of the tanks and asking if I could get two people to help unload it. I told him he might as well turn around and go back until he could bring enough people to unload and set the tanks on the stand. He called Ty and then called back saying they will bring all three tanks and the sump tomorrow. We'll see.

Ty has a regular job and does this as a "hobby". The quality and price are great but you just have to wait until he finds time to "get ur done".

Stay tuned for further updates!

Well if you end up needing a hand getting them moved in H@rry just give me a call.

It's just the cookie monster cooking up some dough in a bathroom stall. Nothing to see there:D. I laughed so hard at that episode of Family Guy, I took a picture to make it my avatar:D.

In the house!

We got the tanks this evening. First of all, this is not a police lineup. These are the young men who did the grunt work of carrying the tanks inside and setting them on the stands. Three of them are football players at Boaz High.

And here they are:

Now, tomorrow start filling them. Wonder how long that will take at 65 GPD?

Wow H@rry, that looks SWWWEEEEEEEEEEET!
And those guys really look big and strong, but I think Will and I could take 'em in tag-team smack down...as long as Shannon was on our team too.
