Hello all,new to the forum but have been lurking and reading for few months, also new to salt so been doing a lot of reading.
Currently setting up a 70gal tall with sump (converted 20 long). Tank will start FOWLR and go to mixed reef when I can afford the lighting. Aim is Triton based setup, sump has Fuge first measures out to 8gal and return pump should be about 1000-1200gph, 1400 with head but split into 3 returns 2 from a sqid so sure there is additional loss. Hope to test plumbing and aquascape in the next few days, i have about 100lbs of rock that i bleached and acid washed ,is was dry when i got it but had no history so to be safe i did the acid. Posting pics of were im at sofar,let me know what you think
