Then I buy a house with a pool and turn it into a reef that you can snorkel into and the wife loses it completely. Hahaha! I love this hobby and am excited to start the first steps again. Then a year later the 60 cube turns into a 240 cube, then the next year the 240 turns into a 500 in-wall, then next year.....and so on!
Welcome to R2R!
I have a Tru Vu tank from way back that had an all-in-one with a built in skimmer (that used wooden airstone) that I got from The Fish Company in Sacramento. Your tank looks really nice. Glad you are back, @12gallonsofhex and Welcome to Reef2Reef!Then I buy a house with a pool and turn it into a reef that you can snorkel into and the wife loses it completely. Hahaha! Welcome back!Hi all. My name is Jonathan and I am in Northern California. I have a 12 gallon hex tru-vu tank I bought years ago while working for a LFS. I had it set up as a mushroom and hardy (low light) coral tank. I am setting it up for pretty much the same thing for now. With a full size family, and a new member on the way, a bigger house trumps expensive lights and aquarium controllers. I am amazed at how much better equipment has got over the last 16 years. I guess my $250 power compact set up is a paper weight now. Lol. Anyway, I look forward to leaning on you guys and gals when I screw up and learning more about reef keeping on the way.
