Hello, just wanted to introduce myself, I’ve been in the hobby(freshwater & saltwater) for almost 50 years( personally & was in the business for 23 years). I had kept marine aquariums for roughly 30 years, only have a 20 gallon Freshwater tank up now, however, never gave up on saltwater hobby. I study it everyday, mainly through R2R. I will set up another saltwater tank again, just can’t now because of time constraints. I’m partial to fish, but I also like corals & inverts. Thanks

Welcome! By in the business, do you mean LFS? We can never have enough experts. It's nice to have another FW enthusiast among us. If you know anything about planted tanks, I'm sure I could bore you to death with questions.

Yes, I was in the retail business for 23 years, been out of it for the past 10, but still have friends on the wholesale side. Loved it, getting those lists every week was like the old Christmas catalogs( Sears, Spiegels, etc.) If it was different, we’d get it. We’d treat & feed them properly, both fresh & salt. We were conscientious about which ones were difficult, wished they would leave them on the reef. I do know about planted tanks, my tank that I have now is planted, don’t use co2 system, but have in the past.
