Totally new to the hobby, always wanted to start a reef tank but never had the ability until now. Been doing ALOT of research and seems like you will always find new interesting things involved with this hobby. The last bit of equipment I ordered will be in tomorrow afternoon so I can finally put water and sand in this tank and get everything going. Looking forward to the experience.

Welcome to R2R, great place to get help. One piece of advice, is to take it slow, and learn to Hurry-Up-And-Wait. Ok that was two... :D Again welcome to R2R. Let us know if we can help.

I realized this when I bought some not so cheap led lights and realized im basically gonna have this tank running for at least a month or longer before I will even need them on once I can add coral

FYI you can cycle the system with the light on. Your ugly stage will run it course faster ;)

That's Ok, at least you know to wait to avoid the extreme of the Ugly tank....you are half way there, and we are here for the ride, to help if needs be.

Welcome to the reef. We like pictures, even if the tank hasn’t seen water yet.
I am going to start a build thread within the next couple days. This is the only picture I have of it now but I will have plenty of them once I get the sand and water in and all the equipment hooked up

That aquarium rocks! If the table can suffer salt water damage, put down a 1/8 plastic sheet before you fill it up (if you can find one, barriers are sparse now).
Your fish will appreciate the swimming paths and tunnels.
