Welcome to Reef2Reef!

You are off to a good start.

hi welcome to the reef going to love it here!!
lots of fun/info/fun/help/fun....

That aquarium rocks! If the table can suffer salt water damage, put down a 1/8 plastic sheet before you fill it up (if you can find one, barriers are sparse now).
Your fish will appreciate the swimming paths and tunnels.
Thanks, I appreciate that. The stand was a DIY so I stained and sealed it myself so hopefully it holds up for awhile but at the same time it didnt cost me much to build if it does get slightly damaged overtime.

What exactly do you mean with the plastic though? You talking about covering the aquascape with it before I add the sand so it doesnt fill the tunnels in too much? I definitely dont want that, I made a couple tunnels and overhangs specifically so some of the less aggressive/smaller fish and invertebrates have a place to hide out if need be.
Sorry, wasn't clear.
The wood stain will bleach and discolor from the saltwater escaping the tank. Protect your diy stand by placing a flat, 1/8 sheet of plastic under the tank, on top of the stand. Even if you dont value the stand, replacing it and moving the established tank 3 years from now will challenge your corals and rockscape.

I edited the comment, I reread yours and realized what you were saying. Thanks for the advice, I'm gonna grab some from work before I leave tonight.

Totally new to the hobby, always wanted to start a reef tank but never had the ability until now. Been doing ALOT of research and seems like you will always find new interesting things involved with this hobby. The last bit of equipment I ordered will be in tomorrow afternoon so I can finally put water and sand in this tank and get everything going. Looking forward to the experience.
Welcome to R2R and the salty world. Lots of knowledgable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.
