New to Reefer,

I am new to the Reefer hobby,
I have been involved with a small salt water aquarium which is well established.
Now I am settting up a Red Sea 170.
(No fish yet, live sand and half filled with water)
The sump is still empty.

I could use some tips on getting the 170 started up and how to transfer the livestock

Welcome to R2R!

I put everything in first except fish, plus rockwork, established and new.

Then, in groups of 2 or 3 least aggressive first, within a week for my livestock, tangs last and at once.
