Welcome to the party Kevin! Looks like you've started with a healthy piece of live rock. Google images of "Red Bubble Algae" and see if that looks like what you have. Can't really tell for sure from the picture. I would personally turn off the lights until the cycle is complete to slow it down. When the cycle is complete, there are several methods you can use to remove it.
Glad to have you with us.

Welcome to R2R!!!

Thank you everyone for the welcome! This is just a little 10 gallon nano tank. I started off with a couple of live rock for a local pet shop...probably my mistake their. Right now I'm still setting up. All of my water test have come back in good results. I checked twice already. I will try turning my lights off for a couple days to see if there is any changes. Thank you for all the advice!

Welcome to R2R!!! Since you are cycling you know that algae can occur from the picture it looks like a red macroalgae. Reds are easy to control just have more whites than blues. Plus if you try and pick them and the squish that risk them adding their gametes. Adding macroalgae that you want like Caluerpa sp. is good and would outcompete the Reds. Or adding some herbivore species like fish or invertes.
