Hi all! So I am totally new to SW. Just started setting up a 36 gal. Bowfront, and I'm having trouble with the aquascape. It's been cycling for 2 weeks (using Red Sea reef mature kit) and I've already rescaped 3 times. I've read the rule of thirds, looked at pics, ect. Any suggestions?

I personally love caves, that's how I scape all of my tanks by and large. It's harder to scape "smaller" tanks this way as my 6 foot tanks have 2-3 caves in each. Still, I think that looks great!

Also, welcome home, you will love it here!

Thanks 4Ford! Have any pics of your tanks? It just seems a lot of ppl have a pile of rocks. I want it to be unique but still have ample room for corals and swimming.

Wow, Your corals look amazing! It's making me antsy to get started with corals :) And I agree that there needs to be something in the foreground.

Welcome to R2R! Love the scape. Be sure to let the tank mature before adding anything;)

You may want to move the rock away from the side and bit more for cleaning space. I like when my mag float doesn't get stuck between the rock and glass.
Just something to consider.

Nice! Im also playing around with rocks aquascaping. :) seen so many amazing caves and structures. Do you plan on securing rocks or let gravity keep it in place? I'm still trying to decide on that too. You pix looks great to me. :)

I'm letting gravity do its thing. I've tried shaking it in numerous spots and it's not budging at all, so I'm not concerned about the structure at all.

Couldn't resist the urge to rescape and add 20# more of live sand! Pics after the sand settles. Hopefully I didn't ruin my cycle [emoji15]
