Welcome to the 210 club! I'm so glad you joined and this is the perfect place to ask questions during your first year in reefing. Or any stage of reefing.

Just a quick update, I'm picking the tank up this evening to bring home! I'm going to set it up in my driveway some how to clean it and hopefully by next weekend have it set up in the house. I have to run some wires and add a plug to the wall I'm putting it on. I'm going to have it on its own breaker.

Pictures to come.

Well, it's been a while since I posted anything. I had to put the tank in the back burner for a while, but have finally started working on it all again. Tank cleaned up pretty good, there are more scratches than I realized, but most are not very noticeable with water in the tank. Stand is built, will skin it once in place. I'm going to make it so I can slide the entire cabinet off if needed.

I have been trying to be frugal with some of the equipment. Buying used where I can. Picked up a Diablo skimmer (Reef Octopus) for $75, a Jebao DC-13000 return pump that is practically brand new for $75, and a good sump. Rodi unit should be here Thursday and gyre pumps are getting ordered tomorrow most likely.

Now, I know the popular choice on lighting is led these days, but I came across a 72" aquatic life 12 bulb ho t5 fixture this week for $50 and will supplement it with led strips down the road. It has a built in timer and works great. Has a bulb out, but I'm ordering all new ati bulbs for it. Going with 6 blue+, 4 coral+, and 2 actinic. The fixture has a blue light and white light set up so that two bulbs on each end are on the blue light timer and the other 4 on each side are on the white light timer. I like it.

Plan is to get the stand coated this week and leak testing the tank. Rocks bleaching and being cleaned up. If all goes to plan I'll have the tank in the house in the next couple of weeks. I still have to install a plug and run rodi line to where I'm setting the tank. Getting excited as I get closer.
