I just bought a New Nikon D60 with a 18-55mm VR lens kit from Best Buy. After everything charges I will get some first shots with it. Eventually I would like to get the 105mm Micro lens but its more than what I paid for this kit :).

Any suggestion with the 18-55 lens for taking good pictures in the tank?

I have no experience with photography so I can't offer any suggestions, but I am interested to see how you do with it.

I have been thinking about getting the same one myself.

Looking forward to some pics.

You should bring it back and get the Nikon 5000 which is coming out in May.

I will never use this camera for video so really I would be paying about $400 more for a camera that had features that I will never use.

Nahhhhhhhhhhhh, you can't wait. Why not wait 5 years and get the new Canik D6000000D made by Cannon and Nikon.

1st picture..... Yes its bad

Congratulations on the new toy

I have the same camera. You'll enjoy it. Read all the suggestions from the people who post here. Post your pics here for critique. Take a lot of pics using different setting until you understand what they do. For killer shots of your corals you'll want the 105mm Macro lens. I put it off for a long time but when I got it - wow!

Good luck and keep shooting.
