New wild Australian Acro colonies

Ya I have lots of flow, it's just my 1st rodeo with buying these large wild aussie colonies.

Not to hijack, I have had this Aussie milli now for about 6 weeks, has been doing fine. Pink and orange tips it is a LA piece. pretty good deal i thought at $110 shipped. I wish I had a LFS that would bring them in, i'd happily pay more and support them especially seeing them in person.

Thanks for that great info, if they work out I would probably get some more, but would need to clear out a bunch of corals to make some room. I really enjoy my fish more and I really don’t care for having the latest and greatest 1 inch sticks for crazy$$$, I really just like all corals and the challenge of keeping them alive and growing with a full tank of fish to boot. Got them centered and secure, some of the fish are camera shy.

This is what I like (and I am sure what WE like) to see ! Very Nice- I have the color- just struggle with growth ???

Love it! Nice mille, thanks for sharing. I am hoping divers den starts bringing in some nice staghorns from Aussie but I haven't been checking it in a long time.

well those 2 and the clown trigger posed for the camera, but the sargassum trigger, blue jaw trigger, purple tang, yellow tang, big ugly damsel, green coris wrasse, gold stripe maroon, tomato clown, banghi cardinal, squirrel fish, and the bicolor blenny didn't want there picture posted on the internet

I just checked all 5 pages of aussie acropora branches for you mate. Send me a PM if you want a head start on everyone else because there is only one piece i would buy, and boy oh boy would i jump on it if i saw it in my LFS.

This is fireworks a few days off the reef it was collected from in a dish of water in the sun years ago when i got it.

Having kept it for years and knowing what it looks like BEFORE it changes due to our lighting and also having seen it poopy colored because it was infested with AEFW i have a very good eye for one of my favorite acros.

I didn't adjust the colors, just the gamma and brightness so you can see what is hiding in plain sight..............

My majestic angel savaging one of the two recovering fireworks colonies i dead headed to stumps to dip and treat easier for worms 3 months back.

Yeah I saw that one, I see them come in more often now. The one that gets green tips I would buy again but I propigating that coral around here for 6 years and just sold my mini colony I had left so i went past that one quick, although it's nice.
I sent you a pm on what I did get though. Let me know what you think.

These are the two I got from dd, just because of color and species I haven't grown yet. I remember old friends saying they used to find gems on dd, but it seems like now it's just bread and butter Aussie stuff. Nothing rare. I think copps may have got his king Tut from dd if I remember correctly? Times have changed.

DD is all over the map with species, some are ided correctly, some not so much. I wish they would settle on species name of fireworks wild variant. I have seen 3 attempts so far.

I usually select sps colony by instinct especially the "unknown' ones ... .
