Hello all
I'm new to this forum, just like reef tanks. I have experience with freshwater tanks, different sizes and fishes. I'm cycling my reef tank at this moment!
Great suggestion about the build thread!Welcome Misha.
It is great to have new folks join here. We don't have many rules here but we do have a few strong suggestions; #1 Start a build thread!
(I've never done one cause my tank was built when I arrived)
#2 post pictures of your tank. (Very nice!)
#3 Have fun!
Welcome to Reef2Reef.

What do you guys suggest for cyling time? My fish store said 3-4 weeks and then slowly add fish/corals. I need to level my tank first its 1/4 inch off on one side is this a big problem? The corner that is 1/4 off is round if that makes a difference.
I don’t have an ammonia test kit as my store said nitrate would be enough, Im still planning on buying one though. Is there a chance I have “missed” the spike?Watch your ammonia spike then drop off to zero...that’s when your cycle ends
