First off welcome to the salty side...now i would like to say if you find a mandarin eating frozen foods readily then you may be fine to get one...i have a mandarin going on around 3 yrs now hes fat and happy and eats all kinds of frozen foods...they also have frozen copepods to try entice it over to frozen foods from live pods...not to mention lrs is releasing a fish eggs and clam blend that should also do the trick ....I am only stating it would be ok based off gettting it to eat now size of aquarium it should be kept in and so on will let the others hash out...im just stating i wouldnt not get one just because most people say wont eat frozen if eats it in lfs then you should be good to go on that aspect of it
