I would not stop water changes they are the best way to keep your tank healthy and balanced... and instead of dosing vodka which is to feed bacteria why not just add bacteria straight. Much less problematic. It is very easy to mess up. I'd go with Dr Tim's waste away. Also maybe until they clear up do larger water changes more often like once a week.

No problem. I am trying to think of a bacterial supplement that you can add to jump-start the pellets or any other dosing like vodka.
I have used Mirobacter7 and Dr tims eco balance successfully with my pellets, but I am trying out the zeobak at the moment because of new results I am seeking.

Also if you feed your corals maybe cut back. Is your skimmer rated for a tank 1 size larger than yours. If not I'd highly recommend running one that is.

Also is your test kit expired because that can lead to false readings. I recommend if it is getting salifert brand.

I concur. The issue right now is the bacteria levels in the pellets. The reason it's not pulling is levels aren't high enough and it takes time.
Dosing bacteria in your case may yield much faster and longer lasting results your seeking. If you've gone a month it shouldn't be too long. Maybe a little kick in the pants is all they need.

See the problem with all this is, Vodka Dosing is not hard, and unless you dump in the whole bottle, its very difficult to mess it up. people keep advising on try this and try that, cut back feeding fish, cut back feeding corals. Welp, Vodka dosing, I say feed all you want to. No need to find the issue. While using Pellets, you have to replace them, while cheap Vodka is all you need, no need to go out and buy a reactor, no need for a pellet reactor either. Just a MLS syringe and cheap old vodka. While I will state that if you go by some instrucions that are out there, it will take you a year to see Nitrates come down, but I can bypass those, I've been dosing for some time now, and can attest to how high your tank can get without any issues to the corals or the fish.

Mr nano reef , I'm living in UAE and the problem there is no big lfs who has the long experience in reef tank , most of them new to hobby or they trade only coral and fish .
So most of our equipment we order it on line and it takes time and coast more to ship it here .
So what that bacteria u recommend it to search out if I can order it to help my bellets

My only reason for suggesting to wait is that the main plunge had already been taken.
It's really, if he wanted, just a waiting game for a little longer. Jumping them just gets it going faster.
Either method is bacterial and is extremely effective.

I totaly agree with carbon dosing. Go to Redsedfish.com and they have a great video on dosing. Not only does it reduce nitrates but it also benifits corals which is explained in video.

Thx mates for all ur advice , in reef I know there is different method and school , and every one choose his way and find out what suitable for his tank , I try the bellets and will wait to see the result if I get no result will try vodka dosing .
I would like to know why NO one has bothered to ask the OP, what his nitrate numbers are reading? Or if he's actually having issues due to his having nitrates?
Could be the numbers aren't so high that would require him to dose anything! That a few extra water changes could fix the issues? When was the last time he did a water change? Why suggest he start dosing something without helping him find the cause?
So I'll ask! What are your actual nitrate readings?
