I don't actually even have the tank yet, but have been thinking of doing this for years. I would always come up with reasons for not pulling the trigger, but now that I am a couple of years from retirement, it's time to make it a reality. I have just recently purchased some Marco Base and Shelf Rock and I am starting to make a Negative Space Aquascape. Once I am far enough along with that, then I will purchase my RODI. Soon after that I will purchase my tank (Waterbox Frag 105.4 w/XR15 Blue Lights) and the pump. I plan on running the system for a while before I get my Skimmer, HOB Refugium, waver makers, etc. Doing it right is more important for me than doing it quickly. Plus I have to show the wife I can start something and see it through to the finish without getting frustrated and saying "Screw it, good enough". Well that's me, now back to being a Lurker.

Yes I know and that's one of the reasons I am buying my tank after I develop my aquascape. If I can't get it to look right, I will go up to the Waterbox Reef 130.4. In my mind though I imagine small arches and branches (made from the Marco Base Rock) with attached little platforms (made from the Marco Shelf Rock), trying to keep it under 12 inches in height. I purchased PVC Piping to outline the tank frame for the aquascaping design, so I will know fairly quickly if I need to step up to a taller tank. I wanted the Frag Tank because the goal is to have mostly Zoas/Palys, BTA, Clowns and Gobies, so I didn't see the need to have a taller tank.
