Losing my absolute mind with these two Noopsyches (https://www.aquariumlowcost.com/led...arium-led-light-full-spectrum-for-corals.html).

Slowly over the past 5-6 months they have gotten out of sync. One light is always an hour ahead of the other, some days they turn on earlier than they should, sometimes hours later they should. I tried resetting everything and using the exact same settings as before, but now no matter what I do, I get a variety of timer errors. "HLPS TIMER ERROR" being the main one as this was the setting I adjusted from its preset. Worked fine for about a year until these issues recently. Since it appears I cannot get the controller to work properly, I tried desyncing and resyncing on the lights themselves, but doesnt really appear to be doing the trick.

Ive let the controller battery die twice because for some reason I cannot reset on the controller (physically with a paper clip) nor any button combinations of clicking. It is driving me utterly insane and it just worries me they are going to malfunction further and blast 100% blues and whites overnight or something insane, frying everything I have.

Looking for suggestions or experiences with this light before I toss them into the garbage! I have my settings written down so even if there is a way to entirely reset these dang things, I will be glad to enter in all the timings again.

Thank you!

So some things ive done with the newer models include a power cycle reset leave unplugged for 20 min and relink and establish master slave then start into spectrum.

You have the older Pro II 90s? I only run 1 of those but haven't seen that.

Did you purchase it from the website you listed because the Pro II hasn't been manufactured for a couple of years now.

No wasn’t purchased from that site just meant to show which ones I had. I’ve had them for a few years now on this model.

Just making sure. I only run 1 and haven't had any issues with it falling out of sync. I'm trying to remember those old instructions - is there a Master/Slave setting like on the newer ones Pro IIIs or do you run them independently?

My V3s run independently on a single remote without problem. I remember some of the old threads having the timing issue running multiple Pro IIs but can't remember if the fix was using Master/Slave setting or running them independently.

Also also, I started keeping my controller plugged in always because if the controller died the light would sometimes "lose" the correct time.

They run off a single remote. They have essentially been running a mind of their own. Sometimes they follow the right schedule somewhat and other times I wake up and they’re on random settings.

No matter what settings or timing I use I get the timer error. I’ve tried resetting everything as much as I can in as many ways as I can. I can literally think of nothing else

Do you keep the controller plugged in?

@Gtinnel you're running V3 or Pro IIs? @BroccoliFarmer @Goaway ? The Pro IIs, do they have Master/Slave mode?
Running the pro 2, no slave master mode. They just sync with the controller.

Thus could be a controller error.

How far from the lights is the controller?
