Not shipping my fish

But for the price?
I have no idea your age or experience, but too good to be true is a universal law with few exceptions. You are learning the hard way by paying the price. The fact that you even let it go this far and are still seeking advice several pages in indicates you may not have fully grasped the lesson yet.

Trustworthy and reputable vendors may charge more upfront, but are far cheaper in the long run. This holds true for just about anything.

It is a shame that there are so many dishonest people in the world… but you have to learn to not fall for their scams.

Good luck and happy reefing.

Thanks she just responded is this a rude response. And should I trust her?
Is this exotic marine or something like that on Ebay? If so that is the first time Ive ever written a negative review. That store is a scam.

This them?

whats the cheapest. Im in hs i dont have alot of money.
Reefbeauties. But youre still going to need to be able/willing to spend money on quality live stock… if you cant commit to that then thats something you need to consider. This hobby is nowhere in the realm of cheap.

Whatever you gave them is lost. Contact the bank. File a dispute. If you get money back your lucky

There is no fish shipment coming to you, the are dragging out the clock so you run out of time to file a dispute. Classic tactic by scammers.

Dang, these are competitive prices and good reviews. I really appreciate it. Future purchases are going to be from here, and LFS. Does anyone know where to get good coral at competitive prices?
Yea SBB and they have a huge sale about to start. look in the vendor forums for the SBB forum and the thread is at the top

Any legitimate business or even a private seller will have some form of contact info in the website. This site has absolutely zero information on where they are located, any names of who works there and no contact information at all. This is the Nigerian prince of fish sales.

Isn’t that the same exact logo as @Reef By Steele? It looks just like their mandarin fish in the exact same shape, just flipped around

I ordered fish a long time ago but the dealer still hasn't sent them. Tommorow is the last day to challenge the buyer and get my money back thats why theres an emergency. What would you do. I was respectful in the start. I worked hard for the money. Lmk. The seller is exotic marine life. Let me know if you have had this problem.

Today

Is the big day

Did you get your money back or not

The anticipation is palpable

I have no idea your age or experience
This is the same kid that was building the automated tester the other day to undercut the big guys. Not sure if he ever got the prototype built as there has not been an update on that thread from the OP. They should be keen to take the advice from us who have been around for a while.

With age and mistakes comes knowledge and experience. We were all less knowledgeable and experienced yesterday than we are today...

In this case, I suspect it would be a parents' credit card and something they will have to handle for him. Hopefully between this experience and the other thread there is some experience gained on the actual cost of things.

Can you guys file a copyright claim for them using your logo as a false advertisement?
The problem is enforcement. These people are already breaking laws. Nobody gives a hoot and they know it. it is why they can get away with it. What most of you likely don't get is that this is likely not some kid ripping one or two people off, but rather a very well organized professional scammer and this is a full time, very well organized and extremely lucrative job.

There is an online flower/seed/plant company that does exactly the same thing. carribeen gardon seid (purposefully misspelled as not give them free google juju) out of Pottstown, PA. They sell using Facebook, ebay, etsy, houzz, multiple full online stores... Buys adwords, and real marketing and are a 100% scam!! They (he) sends out a few random things here or there, often only after arbitration with pay provider plays out over months. And even then the orders are not complete or even what was ordered. He will send random seeds in an envelope or dead plants or rotting bulbs. It is part of the scam in the way he games the payment providers and online marketplace rules about fulfillment vs non-shipment. If he ships, even if it is not what you ordered then a whole new case has to be opened and arbitrated, etc. Most people give up and even if the pay provider charges back, he keeps the difference in shipping.

Local chamber of commerce, local police, state of PA and everyone else knows they (Lafiette Trowers, owner) is a scammer. Nobody has any care or power to do anything and he knows it, so just keeps doing it. If the local police have no means to do anything and the sate doesn't care, what can you do? The FBI doesn't care, etc. It is on nobodies radar and people who run operations like this know it.

The best thing that you can do is simply be diligent about who you order things from by doing research.
