Got a nice call from local fish store today. They said they had a nice birthday present for me . So I got a lil bimac today after the "long" task of acclimation he was just hanging out on top Id the rocks and I dangled a decorator crab above him . He did nothing , until the crab dropped to the rock. Almost instantly our new friend took this live decorator crab and started ripping him apart. Now he's just chillin in the front bottom corner all happy. Guess plenty of hiding places and an offering of live food go a long way. Have always done this and none have every hidden on me for days. Give your new friends a nice treat when you meet them and they will not be so shy

Lil bugger didn't want to show himself today he seems to like the damsels around

Thinking he might be a briarius with that green to him. But I dunno.

Just barely make him or her out but cool. It is interesting that you keep damsel in there. It would be cool if he never eats them.

Two originally acclimation fish we hoped they would have turned into food but never have. Maybe, this new one will get sick of them and take care of em. Lol

Yeah but if they survive you will be the only person I know of to keep fish in a octopus tank. Lol

Actually our first octopus had a cleaner shrimp friend he would never bug him and they would almost play with eachother. That octopus loved eating all of our snails we found like 11 shells in his den after he passed.

We have the dwarf cuttlefish too and they have a great personality as well so I dropped in another crab flicked on the lights and he went to town again
