Can some one tell me what this is. I came home tonight and was looking at the tank and seen this thing crawling on my armor of gods zoa.

Looks like Nudibranchs, but it's pretty hard to tell. I would siphon them out where visible, try looking up Zoanthid eating nudibranchs.

Second pic looks to be a "zoa eating nudibranch". I may be wrong though. Had a couple myself a while back. Manual removed and a dip in coral rx took care of mine.

They will lay crescent moon shaped eggs on zoa heads as well so keep an eye out for those. Almost need a magnifying glass to see them, but when you do, you'll know what they are.

Funny thing is, they turn the color of the polyp the are eating. They're sap suckers. And yea Bad.

Funny ya said that. I thought I struck gold with some cool creatures when I saw a pair of super green nudis, and then realized what they were and why my green zoas were slowly going into hiding.

yup rinse well, and look close for egss. wear gloves you my be holding em a while, paly toxin. its the eggs thatll kill ya. they dont dip off. Manual removel

This is all i have so i hope it does the trick.. i just got a new fish and some snails form my LFS they had to have come on the snail because i dip my corals when i bring them home.

a good friend warned me off the peroxide for zoas recently. He's an all pro too. ALL pro.

a ph balanced rodi(baking soda i think) dip(osmotic shock) should kill the nudis, still have to scrape the eggs.
and dont freak. Its a process but youll win. youll have to hit the hard stuff to dip later. and you probably will be.

Doing fresh RODI now.. how long should i leave them in?

Just a few minutes, less than 5 should be fine. That coral dip isn't a bad idea either, it's a iodine based dip so it might kill the nudibranchs as well. Luckily Zoanthids are one of the toughest corals and handle dips very well. Make sure to wear gloves and goggles if possible, palytoxin isn't anything to mess around with.
