Nice, used to have one as part of my regular maintenance procedure. It rusted out years ago. Been thinking about getting a new one. Something like this perhaps ….

My LFS has one of those DE filters (with the motor on top) in the used equipment section for like $40. If anybody wants it, let me know and I will get it and ship it to you. I was amazed that it was in there, especially with the high amount of freshwater people who visit this store.

I have one i use it 1 or 2 times a year. Polishes the water better than any thing else
