Old Time Acro's

Shawn Bennett has a tort, but this one is yellowish green - sometimes more yellow and sometimes more green. It is a cool coral and can look really good under warmer lighting. It is called Shawn Bennett Yellow Tort. :)

With all the new acro's becoming favorites. What are some favorite Arco's that have been around for awhile. Like 10-15 years ago. It would be awesome if we could get pictures of what you have and how long.
Stubers acro was my first one. Probably about 1992 ish.

Purple monster

Karl’s candlelight is my all time favorite and can’t find anyone that has it anymore. Also of course the pearl berry
I have Karl's candlelight! It's been a slow grower for me so I haven't listed frags. It is definitely unique and bright!

Reminds me more of lime in the sky.

Still nice.

Like that bubble gum too. Wouldn't mind a piece of that
I could see why you'd say that, but it was just light colored in this picture as was about 1" below the surface. In deeper water it's dark green with blue tips.

Cool. Just never seen a green slimer with blue, dark green, and thin branches. Either way you have nice corals. Just thought if your selling coral might want to know. I wouldn't accept as a green slimer.

It was sold to me as blue tip green slimer, but maybe I should change the name to Sir Blue Tip Slimes-a-lot?!

I had a nice colony 3 years ago, gave it to over 20 people and no one has it anymore

Comments like this make me wonder if coral is like trees where a bug or disease (like Dutch elm disease and now emerald ash borers) can wipe out a specific species (or subspecies) and nothing else. I could see a new strain of coral possible introducing something an older strain can’t cope with and it get passed around the hobby decimating the older coral.

Nice! You don't happen to know the scientific name of number 6, the green slimer?
I'm pretty sure we got that one at work and I'm trying to ID all our corals.
Thanks in advance!
