I don't know as I haven't recieved the housing yet. I will update once I use it. I just use my new one outside the tank for the time being. It will probably be ok underwater but I just dont want to have to go through all that hassle again. I had the camera for about 4 months and used it maybe 20 times before it started developing that spot under the lens.
It really is a good camera for the price. Do you use lightroom for any post editing? If not, then you can control the temperature settings to get rid of all the blue, etc. I only mess with the ISO while taking pictures incase the lighting is to bright. Everything else is done in lightroom.
I took some pictures the other night with the new camera. This coral is easily a foot away and this was with the camera outside, pressed against the glass. It is a really good macro camera for the price. Of course they will look a lot better once I get the housing in and get up close and personal.
