Oregon or Cali Tort?

So here is a pic of a tort someone gave me. They said it is an Oregon Tort but I know many times they are called Oregon but are really a Cali. For all you Tort experts out there, which one do you think it might be? I am leaning toward Cali due to the green shading.

Not sure, but I know Oregon tort can sometimes be green at the base in lower lighting

I have both an Oregon tort and a Cali tort. My Oregon is 100% deep blue with no signs of green. The Cali tort has both blue and green. Also, the Oregon tort grows excruciatingly slow, where the Cali tort grows faster.

The crazy thing is I was just in Portland OR last week and could have gotten a frag of the original colony. Ugh. Should have pulled the trigger but I simply ran out of time. I am hoping to get back up there for work so maybe next time...

Tough call. My avatar is an old Cali Tort I used to have and it was solid purple/blue. No green whatsoever. Now my Miyagi Tort on the other hand has green in it.

To be honest, doesn’t look like either to me. True Oregon should have no green, and while ORA/Cali can have some green under certain conditions, that coral is very green - too green even for a ORA/Cali tort.

I have a miyagi and cali. The miyagi is very different, growth patterns and coralites are totally unique from the other 2. Like yours looks.

Yeah I vote Cali. In this pic Cali is bottom left row and Oregon Blue is top right on tray. The tall skinny tort behind the Cali is Myagi. All way over due to be glued down.
