Did you have the flow in the troughs adjusted when taking the video, or is that a fairly accurate representation of the surface agitation under normal operating conditions?

Flow was dramatically turned down in the video. Each 3HP return pump has a flow controller that allows us to dial in flow digitally, plus additional supplemental flow as needed based upon species.

If you look at post 18 the first image showing the longer white holding tanks it looks like you can see the surface movement or agitation.

Normal flow level

Have to say this is why I really enjoy hanging out here in the sub forum. Someone asks a question be it about how to handle a clam or something simple about flow. BAM, a short answer and later follow up video to show.

Simple, yet effective. I think it is neat. Thanks!

very cool! You guys even predict my questions. I was just gonna ask what the tanks are made of. Thank you for sharing!
