Overlow PerforatedPipe

Anyone know where I can get some of this perforated pipe? It fits standard PVC fittings. Been looking online all day and can't seem to find anything that doesn't require a massive order to purchase.

I'm going to reach out to them as well, but they have a minimum order size that concerns me. Other sites I have seen have that also, it it is pretty massive minimum sizes. I thought about requesting a sample, but that seems pretty sleazy if I have no intention of buying anything.

Those are pretty expensive at over $100 each. Not sure that fits for my use case. I have an external fuge and I need a long strainer since chaeto mats up on smaller strainer. Was looking for something about 6" long or that I can cut to size

I'm trying to replace that low profile strainer with a durso. I'm redrilling everything from 3/4" to 1" as well. Even though I'm only feeding with a 1/2" line at 100gph, the 3/4" dry emergency drain wasn't keeping up without the level rising too high as to cause potential overflow.

OK so I found something and placed an order a minute ago...

Got 1" version. Slides tightly over PVC and is rigid enough to hold shape. The plan is to cut out 4 long windows in the pipe from top to bottom with the Dremel and then slide this over it to screen it off. I may cap the end or just leave it open. Maybe I can even just stick it on a 1" long pipe stub coming out of a fitting and that will hold snug enough to call it a day. I'll report back when it shows up and I do some fabrication. It's only $10 for about 4 feet of the material. Can't beat that.

That's actually exactly what I was looking for. I'll bookmark that for the future in case my diy option doesn't work out. The main requirement was a large surface area as chaeto tends to mat up on overflows.
