Ozone and CO2 scrubber on same skimmer?

I think carbon is debatable if you can smell ozone escaping then have it exit thru carbon. guarantee the smell will drive you out before anywhere near a lethal dose will occur.

Thanks. My initial plan is just to run it at like 3am for an hour and controlled by orp probe. Tank is in living room but Im assuming running it while nobody is close will be safe enough

I finally got my ozone generator.

My skimmer has a scrubber lid on it that has no vent holes to recirculate the air.

Most instructions I’m seeing say to put a bag carbon on the top of the lid. If there’s no vent holes, do I need the carbon?

I have a lid and carbon bag on top. Here is a picture. I used a Tupperware container to cover all the holes of the skimmer lid and then cut a hole on top that the carbon bag covers. I also put carbon at the output of the skimmer

I am unsure if this question was fully answered, and I have the same concern.

I have the Octopus Elite 200 INT skimmer with a separate Ozone inlet.

Also, I have the CO2 scrubber from Octopus, which is phenomenal.

Lastly, I have the recirculating lid cover without holes.

If they are all connected, there is no way to for air to escape including potential ozone. Still, I have been thinking if I should still cover the top of the scrubber media with carbon potentially? Not sure if there are chemical reactions that I should be aware of, or if this is simple not a good idea?
