Since the achilles tang is thought to be highly susceptible to fish dz and virtually untreatable in a display aquaria...i have to figure the ozone played a role.

True, we are talking about a large volume reactor with close to 200 gallons per hour being hit with the maximum amount of ozone the generator can produce and under 7 or 8 psi of pressure but still...
.

There is no doubt that yours is a much more aggressive use than most reefers use, and may well be sterilizing the water passing through it. :)

Look what showed up at the door today!

My Poseidon bit the dust way too easily.

Not a fan.

Running an aquamaxx unit with just a UV bulb to similar effect...direct to skimmer now.

Sorry to hear that.

My Poseidon stopped working within a few days. Sent it back to BRS at their expense and they checked it out. Then they replaced with free rush return shipping. Quality folks for sure.

I'm running ozone on my 120g. I have a 200 Sanders ozonizer from Germany that I use with a BRS air dryer and Danner pond air pump, and an Avast Marine ozone reactor and post carbon reactor. It definitely keeps the water clear. Huge difference looking at the waste water in a trash can on water change days.
