Package thievery

So I just had some reefing gear stolen from my front porch about half an hour ago.
Saw it delivered and then went out to grab it a half hour later(got distracted with cleaning the tank) and it was gone.
So, does anyone else have this issue?

When we moved in we had a similar situation. I highly recommend getting a ring video doorbell. It's not 100% thief proof, but many people will see them and think twice about grabbing the package.

I installed a ring at my place in Nashville. It got stolen 4 days after I installed it. Then my neighbor across the street got robbed for his guns. Our ring would have id’d their car.

And now, down in ATL, we’ve had two Christmas packages track as delivered, with no sign at our door. 3 others in our neighborhood.

I don't know if you know this, but if your ring gets stolen, they'll replace it for free.

sorry to hear that.....I had a package that said delivered and went outside after awhile and the package wasn't there. I reported it stolen and later that the package showed up. Turns out the ups lady scanned the package really early for some reason.

USPS is 'famous' for showing tracking that says delivered …. but it is not. I recently had a BRS order show delivered that didn't appear for three further days. Of course, if you see it delivered …. and then nada …. that stinks. Why anyone would steal packages is beyond me … I mean, what are the chances that it's actually something they need LOL. Ooooooh, granular ferric oxide, just what my nephew needs …...

This video should explicitly detailed the origin of the location. That way the neighborhood would be able to identify & alert folks around the community by naming these losers as well. It's a real shame & pretty disgusting ;Rage

I'm afraid it simply reinforces my long held suspicion that a distressingly high percentage of people in this country are morons.

It was my new skimmer and some Carbon.
I do not think I will get reimbursed as it was a person to person sale.

Lifestyle choices. My driveway is about 3/4 of a mile long, a single gravel lane, disappearing into the woods. Dead ends at my place. Nothing else down here but us. 'Us' would include my three Great Pyrenees... they're quite friendly, but intimidating enough that people I've invited will sometimes stay in their cars until I come out and clear the way... Oh, and I work from home. There is nearly _always_ someone here.

Never had a trick-or-treater, don't see any Jehovah's Witnesses... My youngest once asked me if she could decorate our driveway for Halloween. What for? Nobody but the mail man and the trash guy are going to see it

I got cameras in the front and back of my house but a while back I got someone that came to stole a package that amazon drop off and when he saw the camera the guy just run away. From that day all packages goes to my work place so I can avoid missing or stolen package.
