Painted BB???

I used to something very similar to this on my old freshwater breeder tanks. I was running them bare bottom for obvious reasons of making it easier to feed and clean up after lots of fish babies. The same old bare bottom look was getting kind of old so I took a textured spray paint and painted the bottoms closer to the "natural sand" look. I didn't put the second color over the "sand" paint. If you apply a decent coat of the first paint the second paint doesn't show through regardless so I never added a second color. As I've phased out my freshwater breeding tanks I have finally gotten rid of the tanks I had done this way (actually just sold my last one at the beginning of this year). But this is a good way to change it up and get a nice visual look in my opinion.
