Thanks for the compliment deer, yes I've noticed that the test kits seem to all differ. I'm really enjoying this Redsea reef foundations test kit that I got, It is alot more accurate than my old API tests.Just bought hanna checker for alk it tested 6.5 while red sea was 9. Great looking build.

I have them both on the same side of the tank(left side), about 7 inches below the surface, and each is about 8 inches from either side left/right, I get great flow across the top and slower along the sand bed, practically a gyre current.
Thanks. I have mine on opposite sides but I was contemplating putting them both on the same side.
