I see this more and more (or maybe I just notice it more and more). What do you think about "pre-ordering" frags. Specifically, paying up front to have the coral cut, healed, then finally sent to you.

+1 WERD. Too many variables to go wrong if you pay first.I dont think i would do it. In this hobby WYSIWYG is really the best way to go...
Right, but Im assuming that we are talking in general here. :angel:I do it, but only from sellers I trust.

i dont think vendors should do this.. i was speaking from the hobbiest stand pointOkay here's the thing i don't understand about the pre-sale. I understand it when its' a hobbiest, not wanting to cut until for sure there going to get there price and a buyer lined up. What I don't understand is why vendors are doing this? There obviously going to sell it. And in most cases of these corals which are being presold, they will sell in moments of being posted as a WYSIWYG frag. I just want to understand the thinking behind this? In some cases thousands of dollars are going to the vendor before a frag is even cut. I'm not saying this is shady or a bad business practice. I just want to understand the thinking behind this? We all know what has happened with several cases of this ... But almost all other cases of this , both buyer and seller has been happy.
you know who you are wwc :crossedlips:
