PC Superman Acro Growth/Color Tracking

Beautiful piece, what would you guess the size to be side to side?

I got a nubbin from Battle Corals last year that has been chilling in one of my frag/growout tanks, its gotten the blue tips a few months ago has started to to take off but I can't think of a place in my display I can put it-so sad

My growout tanks house nicer pieces than my display :ooh:

It is just over 5"

really nice Rick! digging the surrounding pieces as well! I finally got a little colony in my display that i vowed not to frag. you aren't kidding that its a tough one to cut. and fragging it just ruins the integrity of the table.

My first piece from Sonny would be a monster by now if i left it alone that last four years. Yours looks amazing!

Thanks Adam, it is the one I received from you. The higher flow really makes the coral grow a thick table.

I finally got a mini-colony, I'll take some photos soon. Its kinda funny how it reminds me of TDF and and a Rainbow Table I have... but it has a slightly different growth morphology.

I have a couple pieces waiting for me when I'm ready.

Update - Wow its been a while.
So last year during the summer the tank was contaminated with bad salt and I ended up having to Frag the PC Superman into 5 Frags. I ended up selling 2 and have the remaining 3 which have grown nicely.

Here is a picture of 1 of the 3 survivors. Each about the same size on a 3.5" disk. Pictured under ATI 12K T5 and Actinics on Note 4 no white balance!

Love this coral. Mine is still a 1" nub. Funny of all these pics it seems the true colors don't show up until it hits it's stride and gets a little size. That's been my observation at least. One of my favorite corals when grown out but one of my least impressive frags....

Wow, I'm very happy to see that many of you have acquired and are enjoying this wonderful coral.

When we first released it years back we knew we had a winner on our hands. The coral is hardy, tables out, and has impressive colors and growth. It's a real gem, and definitely should be in everyone's collection. You guys have grown them out well, and I feel like a proud father, lol.
