All involved, I haven't posted in a while as my tank is setting in. I ended up fagging the Superman do to its high demand for an original frag. Here is a picture as of today! This coral is loving the new bulbs!

Wow diesel! It's funny you posted that pic in your thread and I was going to ask you what it was it was so nice. That said, it looks very different than all the superman tables I've seen. Gorgeous!

There was a reason why they called this Acro the Superman...........

Looking good, guys! Once this coral settles in its quite hardy and exhibits excellent coloration. I'm happy that this coral has thrived, and that so many have enjoyed it. I still remember the first day I pulled it out of the box as a wild colony. I knew that we had a winner on our hands. I was nervous while it acclimated but was overjoyed to see it go from wild colony to aquaculture.

Keep those pictures coming! :D

Here is the mother colony from whence all PC Superman's originated from. This is a picture of the wild colony, first week of acclimation from wild to aquaculture.

Hey SunnyX, thanks for posting the picture. It is very cool to find out where some of these "named" corals originated back in the beginning. I read a story on the purple monster elsewhere and found it enlightening. For those of us who weren't in the game back then it is cool to know. P.S. Glad you're feeling better.

Great thread, giving it a bump

Here's my frag I got 5 months ago from Adam at BC. It's mostly green but the new growth tips look like they're turning blue. Don't really see any red in it, is that something that comes with time? I have it midway in a 24" high tank under an ATI 8x24W T5's. Looks really happy with great PE, just not seeing any red.

Mine began to turn green as well. I think it may not be getting enough light? Hopefully somebody else can chime in on this
