What are people using for pellets now a days? I'm trying to setup my autofeeder to feed during the day to help keep my nitrates and phosphates up.
Currently have:
Hippo tang
Sailfin tang
5 Chromis
2 Clowns
Goby
6 Line Wrasse

I feed one large cube at night. A friend makes it in house.

TDO ChromaBoost
PE Mysis pellets
NLS Thera-A
NLS Ultra Red

I use a mix of the above pellets (along with some flakes) in my auto feeder.

Most of my fish absolutely love the Nyos Wild Goji pellets (2 clowns, yellow watchman goby, firefish and bicolor blenny). I have a picky banggai that only eats frozen and ROE so I don't think it's the pellets. He doesn't like flake food either.

@Reef Nutrition Chroma Boost.

Looks like maybe EP1 Chroma BOOST would be good for the size of fish I have. Ill get a bag coming.
Do you guys refrigerate like stated in the directions?
Hi there! Happy to hear you are going with our TDO. Also pleased to see so many people recommending it. Thanks for that everyone!

For everyone here, we have an FAQ on TDO that I created. Feel free to check it out. If there is something missing, don't hesitate to reach out. https://reefnutrition.com/pages/tdo-faq

Have a great weekend!

Best,
Chad

My banggai eats anything I put into tank. Never seen a picky one.

Never knew TDO was supposed to be refrigerated! Kind of makes using a pellet food in an auto feeder pointless.

I have never refrigerated it in the 3 years I've been using it. Never noticed a difference either.

I mix TDO, NLS, and algae max pellets in my auto feeder fed twice a day.

I highly recommend Fauna Marin line of pellets. Fishes love them, and they are very nutritious.

I don't either and never had any issue.

per their FAQ

"While refrigeration is the best way to store TDO in between feedings, we are aware of hobbyists and aquaculture professionals not refrigerating the food with out any negative effects"

Tropic Marin, Soft Spirulina has just the right size, buoyancy, and maintenance of freshness. Should be a good one for all including the tangs
