people eaters

Wraith of God PE.

That's what they were sold as by a reputable online store. They do not have the mouth color that I usually see in Zoanthus Gigantus but they get pretty big. Bigger than some of my Am Sure PE. I think to really confirm Zoanthus Gigantus takes some Molecular Test. Usually the mouth and the white striations around the closed polyps are a dead give away though. The Hawaiian People Eaters in the post earlier didn't have the white striations but they look like PE to me. So who really knows?

After seeing your post I checked my HPE and they do have the white striations on them when closed.
Zoanthus gigantus display many differnet mouth colors. PEs are not the only zoanthids classified as Zoanthus gigantus. There are many besides PEs.

If it's a zoanthus gigantus and has a green mouth it is a people eater.
You are right, but not all gigantus are PE which I believe was the question at the start with the ones in the thread thought to be PEs. I didn't catch that you were just pointing out the obvious.
And there again, not all large zoanthids with a green mouth in a slit are PEs. Many protopalys have green slit mouths.

What are the red zoas in the backround...and do you have any for sale? LOL

Yeah I was pointing out the obvious. My main point was that if it is a gigantus and has a green mouth then it is a PE.
