The problem with this 'recommendation' that nobody seems to be talking about isn't what it bans, but how it bans it. Instead of creating a blacklist (e.g., don't import lionfish) they are creating a 'whitelist'. The problem is the process that has to be done to get an animal onto it. The big dealers will jump through the hoop for the most common species - but won't bother for rarer ones. You'll be able to buy your clownfish. Not sure what else you'll be able to get. Essentially everything will be banned - until further notice. I predict that many online sellers will simply stop shipping anything to Florida at all rather than deal with this.
