Glad to hear things are on the up and up Perry!
I will be adding corals along the bottom part of the reef to complete my project, lastly I will add sps to the reef. I have a lot of real state, so this process will take time, but at least the new vision is in place, LOL
Prime-Kessil and T5 oh My.......When I seen this I scanned back and only seen A black box. I have the hybrid and thought about adding 2 xr15's with my 360's. excellent photography bty5. Photo period update: Using ATI C+, Actinic+, and 2x KZ Superblue for t5's(11am to 5pm). Prime LED running 90% at peak on Blues and Violets, no red green, or white.(8am to 8pm) Kessil A160we running peak Blue only at 70%.(9am to 7pm) The color is simply amazing during peak, and I love that for photos I can tune in white with the kessil, really helps in taking pics
Another little update:
Tank for the first time, since I had it, is now actually processing alk. The culprit was finally reduced to a single large piece of live rock that was air freighted in from Fiji. I suspect that I never really cycled it properly. I had tried everything, even a CO2 scrubber, and still gained 1.5dkh weekly. I am certain this is why I could never get SPS to take off. That said, I will be adding some tester sps later today. Key notes to point out:
1. After muriatic acid bath, the rock literally reduced to 1/3 it's original weight.
LOL, thank you, I am pretty happy with the lighting so far, based on placement, I think the setup will allow for SPS to grow well, thanks for the kind words!!!Prime-Kessil and T5 oh My.......When I seen this I scanned back and only seen A black box. Well, Perry
You found the culprit and that's great news.
1/3 of it's weight is amazing.
Yesterday I scored 2 chunky acro pieces, I believe from RR is where my LFS acquired, they are extremely bright. I also scored a spath that has tons of potential. I am however still eyeballing mushroom corals, and will continue to add unique non sps corals, as long as they are bright. I am very happy with the structure of the reef, and the placement of corals. Hopefully the vision will come to fruition.

Thanks for doing a video series. Perry always curios about AF and am considering the 123 bundle in the near future. I was recently rescaping and asked a LFS about reef cement and he told me he has never seen an offering from his distributors. I ordered it online. Just thought you should know. Following along

Thank youLooks awesome!
