While I am an acro lover at heart, my eyes keep taking me to this unique monti. This is a red/Purple grafted Montipora. Unusual streaks and color swishing patterns are quite interesting. Easier to distinguish during top downs, but what the heck :) Here is a quick photo and a couple of others from earlier today :) Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays everyone :)

Nice, Tank looks Happy, Thanks for sharing
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Wish you were closer, beach bum and altered ego both woke up recently, plus a few more montis, I would love to pass to you. I love your tank brother!!! I am still on the fence about an upgrade, seeing you go all in is quite inspiring! Best wishes to you and your family!!!

Thanks Perry! I would say let those babies grow but at the rate they are growing and the amount you have I say UPGRADE! :-)

My whole side of the family still lives in Clermont, FL. I will hit you up next time I am visiting. Would love to check out your system. I will cut some frags and bring them down.

Have a Merry Christmas!

Hey, I am next door to Clermont in Minneola. Tank is only about a year old so I don't have anything to trade right now but will definitely be looking to shop in Perry's tank soon. Just need to find time to drive out there.

Hi stickheads!
A year ago I was planning a 20 piece battlecorals order which arrived in January 2022.
This kicked off my reboot, and the beginning of a new life journey as well. A year later, I am so grateful to be looking at mini-colonies that started as frags. The bommie has changed a bit, and sand was added, but the corals are all alive, except 2, not bad at all :)
A recent removal of corals to kick start the nuvo was done, which thinned the herd. I decided to pull the separate islands in closer, and make for one stretched out structure, utilizing the light source, and tank footprint to maximize future growout.
All in all, it looks pretty good, more caves and hiding spots for fish. Best of all, real-estate for some incoming smoothies :)
Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Great progress Perry! I see lots of color.

Thank you very much!
Color is there for the most part, balancing color and growth structure is always a work in progress. I do feel the over all placement looks pretty balanced.
Cheers
