Yep, that’s it... unless it’s not really that red in person. Sometimes these photos can be deceiving lol
Not to sound like a broken record, but it's so amazing that you're taking your time to help me. I can't thank you enough

Another update; the yellow tang has started eating nori

Had to check in on the patients...Glad I did..this puts a smile on my face. They are looking better. Thank you for doing so much for them. Your a good person!! :)
Thank you! I was really worried they wouldn't make it through the first night but, thanks to everyone here, things are going well

Just don't pay full price! We can't let them turn a profit on sick fish. Maybe if they sell enough of them to us for less than they paid they may decide to revamp their care procedures

I don't think it works that way. They are better off selling to you at a discount even if it is a partial loss rather than having it die in their own tanks at a full loss. Although I commend you for your rescue effort, I doubt that this helps to change their care procedures.

My wife was finally able to get a couple decent shots of the blue tang, she hides every time we try to take her picture. I also included one of the yellow tang showing ammonia is under control:)

The blue tang looks like it's getting a little color back - actually they both do! How's her breathing today? Any better yet?

They are both looking a lot better, especially the yellow tang. The blue tang's breathing does look better, she's eating plenty of medicated food twice a day but still hasn't touched the nori. Hopefully she starts to nip at it when the meds are done

If you are going to place an order, I would get some just in case. Or try to track down some CP.

FWIW, I’ve treated a few tangs in copper successfully. Not as many as some folks here, @4FordFamily, lol but I’ve never really had serious issues with them in copper. But, I’m pretty slow in bringing my levels up so that probably helps.

CP is out there available on eBay. If not and you still need it I can call in a script for you to pick up. I am a doc and you can use the human CP and grind it up if they won’t but most pharmacists will do it for you.

Shoot me a PM if the fish are still alive on Monday. I will send you a starter culture of Grindal Worms to try and help fatten them up. No charge and I will pay the postage as well....

Dang this forum and this hobby amazes me daily!! Rugs at heart strings, makes me laugh and smile and teaches us all so much about the human spirit!! Bravo!!

That would be amazing if you would do that, I read Humblefish's write up about cp and he advised against buying it off of ebay and to only get it from a pharmacy

Me too, I love seeing everyone rally together. My CP actually came from diamondback drugs... but was gifted to me by another R2R member who said they had more than they needed and was generous enough to share it with me :)

This is my current setup. There are a lot of hiding places and room to swim for it only being a 55. I think @Big G mentioned somewhere in here that they may be able to get along if they are different sizes. But if it could be a problem I don't want to risk it

You could probably keep the yellow in this tank for a year or so if you plan to upgrade. I’m not sure about the hippo though.

If these fish pull through, somebody get this good human a bigger tank.

Above and beyond the call! I commend your effort.
We should all take up donations to buy him a bigger tank! I’m in if anyone else will too???? !!! Let me know!!!
